সুন্দরবন পৃথিবীর সবচেয়ে বড় ম্যানগ্রোভ বন বা লবণাক্ত বনাঞ্চল। সাধারণভাবে ধরে নেওয়া হয় যে সুন্দরী গাছ থেকেই সুন্দরবনের নামকরণ হয়েছে। সুন্দরবন পশ্চিমবঙ্গের দক্ষিণ চব্বিশ পরগনা জেলা ও উত্তর ২৪ পরগনা জেলা নিয়ে গঠিত। এই সুন্দর বনে ১৮৭৪ বর্গ কিলোমিটার জুড়ে রয়েছে নদী-নালা ও বিল মিলিয়ে রয়েছে জলাকীর্ণ অঞ্চল। সুন্দরবনে রয়েছে রয়েল বেঙ্গল টাইগার সহ নানান ধরনের পাখি, চিত্রা হরিণ, কুমির ও সাপসহ অনেক প্রাণীর আবাসস্থল।
প্রতিবছরের মত এই বছরেও সুন্দরবনের শুরু হয়ে গেছেে ইলিশ উৎসব। তাই আমিও আর দেরি না করে পৌঁছে গেছিলাম সুন্দরবন ইলিশ উৎসবে।এই ইলিশ উৎসবে যাওয়ার জন্য আপনাকে কোন না কোন ট্যুর এন্ড ট্রাভেলস এর সাথে যেতে হবে কারণ এই ট্যুরটা ওনারাই অর্গানাইজ করে থাকেন দু রাত্রি তিন দিনের ক্যানিং টু ক্যানিং।তাই আমি বেছে নিয়েছিলাম ভ্রমনসাথী ট্যুর এন্ড ট্রাভেলসকে, ওনাদের আতিথেয়তায় আমি আপ্লুত। এই ইলিশ উৎসবের উপরি পাওনা হলো খাওয়া আর ঘোড়া একসাথে।ব্যাস কোন চিন্তাভাবনা না করে লাগেজ প্যাক করে বেরিয়ে পড়ুন ইলিশ উৎসবে ভ্রমন সাথীর হাত ধরে, কথা দিচ্ছি একটুও নিরাশ হবেন না। নিচে ভ্রমণ সাথীর ওনার সৌভিক দার নাম্বার দিয়ে দিলাম যোগাযোগ করতে পারেন।
এবার বলি ক্যানিং পৌঁছাবেন কিভাবে?শিয়ালদা থেকে ক্যানিং লোকাল ধরে মাত্র ১ ঘণ্টা 40 মিনিটে পৌঁছে যাবেন ক্যানিং তাছাড়াও আপনি বাসে করে বা গাড়ি করেও পৌঁছাতে পারবেন খুব সহজেই ক্যানিং।
