Israel-Hamas war: Israel military official criticizes Netanyahu | LiveNOW from FOX

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant publicly challenged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about Israel's post-war plans for the Gaza Strip.

"We must dismantle Hamas’ governing capabilities in Gaza. The key to this goal is military action, and the establishment of a governing alternative in Gaza," Gallant said.

Meanwhile, Israel for the first time has released its estimated civilian death toll in Gaza, saying that 16,000 have been killed in the war that began on Oct. 7. A U.S.-built pier is in place to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza by sea, but no one will know if the new route will work until a steady stream of deliveries begins reaching starving Palestinians.
