Diana Ross with Special Guests - Q&A & I Will Survive (75th Birthday Diamond Jubilee - 0326 2019)

The Finale of Diana Ross' 75th Birthday Bash at the Hollywood Palladium was epic and there were stars galore, who showed Ms Ross lots of love, as did the fans who filled the pack venue! Because I've been to many of her shows, there are certain songs that I don't bother taping because I know it's going to be the same old, same old. Songs like "Love Child," "Medley of "Love Hangover, Take Me Higher & Ease On Down The Road" and this Gloria Gaynor classic, "I Will Survive." I should have known better because these were the songs that she brought out the stars in so I only got a snippet here and there. So in making this video, I had to do a lot of editing. She usually does "I Will Survive" as her finale. She then walks off the stage before returning for a Q&A and a reprise of "I Will Survive." I usually tape the Q&A segment because it's a guarantee that it'll be a little different and surprising. This was the case on this night and I made sure I captured the "I Will Survive" encore so for this video...that's what I started off with, followed by the finale of "I Will Survive" - where she brought out Stevie Wonder, Sean "Puffy" Combs, Robin Thicke and DJ Khaled. So for people who were at the concert, you may notice the switch but if you weren't, I hope I made it look seemless. Enjoy and Happy Birthday Ms Ross! It was the best concert I've been to....ever!!
