Tom Sawyer - The Blue Hospital Sessions, Episode 6 (Rush Cover)

Although some claim the music of Canadian prog-rockers Rush is an acquired taste, their song Tom Sawyer from the 1981 album Moving Pictures is arguably one of the most iconic songs in the history of modern rock music. Some might even consider it a sacred cow, not to be slaughtered in a cruel and disrespectful manner for the sake of mass entertainment, so picking it to be recorded and filmed initially raised some eyebrows in our little community.
But finding your own voice in the music of others and interpreting it the way you feel it is part of the fun in this project and after a month of turning, tasting and twisting it, this is what we came up with.
