Honda CRF300L, Most Grueling Ride Yet...Tri State Border (Three Corners)

Описание к видео Honda CRF300L, Most Grueling Ride Yet...Tri State Border (Three Corners)

This ride was a true adventure! Navigating the maze of roads to and from the Tri State Monument and almost having to leave the motorcycle in the desert and walk to civilization.
Sometimes you just have to go out there and get in it. That's exactly what happened on this ride. I had been attempting the ride to the Tri State Border (or Three Corners) where Utah, Nevada, and Arizona meet a few times already. Trying a few routes but not succeeding in getting to the monument. Well, that changed on this ride.
The Northern route (coming from Utah) eventually got me to the monument. The ride began by getting jammed up in a wash followed by hours of navigating multiple dirt roads and I was finally successful at making it to the Tri State Border. Instead of returning on the route I came in on, I decided to push south to Mesquite through the desert and return via the highway. Simple enough, the route looked like a straight shot. This isn't entirely true and this is where the ride turned into a nightmare.
The terrain turned to deep sand jeep tracks and difficult ascents on hills that were covered in loose piles of baseball and larger sized rocks. This went on for miles and miles. Once again, I had to continue to navigate multiple roads leading south. I also kept dropping the bike. Wrecking while attempting the ascents, wrecking while chugging through the deep sand, wrecking on the piles of loose rocks. On and on! Other variables made the ride difficult as well...I was still getting over being very sick from earlier in the week, loaded up motorcycle - weight, not eating, dehydration. Might as well check all the boxes.
My final option during this ordeal was to leave the bike in the desert and walk till I got to town. At least I could be found in Mesquite. Due to the maze of roads, finding me out the desert would have been difficult and time consuming. I was almost out of sunlight at this point. I picked up the motorcycle one more time and was able to get out of the desert finally and descend the Mesa into Mesquite. Good clean fun!
