Kel to Shounter | Chitta katha Deck 1-Azad Kashmir Motorcycle Tour-Ep-05

Hello Viewers,
Today is the 5th day of our #azadkahsmirtour. We had started our journey from Kel at almost 8.30am towards shounter Valley. Shounter Valley is located at an elevation of almost 9500 feet in Upper Neelum Valley, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is one of the most hidden and unseen beautiful place of Azad kashmir. The beauty of Shounter valley is breathtaking and spell bounding. One must visit this place if you want to witness real beauty of azad kashmir, Pakistan.
From Shounter valley, one can cross the Shounter Pass to go in Astore at Rattu by doing a trek of 1 day. May to August is the best time to visit Shounter valley . Shounter valley can be accessed through a tough jeep track from Kel which only gets opened for a few months of the year. The distance from Kel-Shounter is almost 28km which can be covered in almost 3 hours. A best place for camping lovers, as camping is mainly common here; scarce accommodation facilities are available there.
We reached Domail village shounter valley after riding motorbikes for 3 hours on a savage 4*4 offroad track. we had decided to trek upto Chita katha lake deck-1 after reaching Domail village, shounter valley.
The hike to deck-1 proved very tough for us as we were tired already. Still we managed to reached #deck1 #chittakatha lake trek by 6 pm.
we stayed at a camp operated by mr.Zaheer at Hoze camp, domail, shounter.
