Jazz Roots Jam Session 4.14.23 #1

In this video Dr. Salvatore Vinciguerra visits the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami, Florida with his students at Doctors Charter School. Doctors Charter School music students had the opportunity to participate in 3 Jam sessions that included working with professors from the University of Miami and music students from across Miami-Dade County on Jazz Improvisation.

In addition students attending this evening's Jazz Roots had the opportunity to interview Afro Cuban jazz artist Issac Delgado and his band, as well as Brazilian guitarist Diego Figueiredo.

A Special Thanks to Lakeisha Firth and Jazz Roots for this wonderful opportunity. Jazz Roots is a outreach program at the Adrienne Arsht Center that allows local middle and high school students to attend the Sound Check, Jam Session, and performances with Jazz artists throughout the school year.
