It started in 1990 to bring people together. Every 4 years Indigenous people and supporters join together for a intercontinental prayer run. This year the run began in Fairbanks, Alaska, and Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, converging at El Cuaca, Colombia. One leg of the run came through Nye County.
We met up with them at the Bob Ruud Community Center.
