How to create a stamped mirror image (reflection) without specialist tools

Creating a mirror or reflection image is a really useful technique in stamping. You can use it for the following scenarios:
- Use with a single image to create to characters that face each other
- Create a reflection for example a tree reflected in the water
- Turning an image to face the other direction for positioning on your card.

Although a stamp positioning tool such as the Stamparatus is a great help, this video shows you that you can create a mirror image with tools you may already have at home.
For the image that is being mirrored I like to use a darker ink, and a slightly lighter one for the original image. This is because the mirrored image is effectively a second generation of stamping (known as stamping off) and is therefore lighter.
