Honeyberry Propagation - Stool Layering is Great!

It feels rewarding to set something in motion in quite a passive way and let time do it's work. A few years ago we planted two each of a number of Honeyberry types that were not inexpensive! We banked up against the stems soil and mulch and sand and mulch and soil and muck and various whatnots over 2-3 growing seasons and in that time the stems put on tons and tons of ropey, healthy roots. Now we can dig up the plants, tease and cut apart a remarkable number of duplicates of the plants, and expand our plantings by 10x or more. No complexity!
