The glimpse of the performance 'st.One 33' at the MO modern art museum in Vilnius, Lithuania (20 - 22 June, 2019).

'st.One 33' structure:

1st part / 33 hours-– durational performance by Goda Zukauskaite;
2nd part / 1 hour – SILENCE music of SOVIJUS;
3rd part / 2 hours – PRESENT performance by Goda Zukauskaite (dance) and SOVIJUS (music)

'st.One' (saint. One) - invites you to return to an instinctive state of being, rejecting the social image created. The action taken permeates the performer in the body, changing the perception of himself and the environment. The process exhibits an environmentally sensitive man who becomes a conductor between stone (urban architecture) and urban people. It is a game of will, a return to our natural state and an instinctive sense of the environment.

“Each body muscle is on, so I can lift the stone. Each blink is a fight and surrender at the same time. The moment my focus is away from the stone - it hurts me. The stone becomes alive. It cannot stay alone. It needs me. Pain in the back and feet, tired joints, dry skin and open wounds, swollen fingers, shaking muscles. It’s my choice - go on. Tiredness, dissatisfaction goes away through the action of chopping stones. The body wants to break apart too. Rolling, falling, rooting - together with stones. My body becomes instinctive. I need stones to build my own habitat. The moment I go into a comfort zone and relax the body I start to feel loosing the consciousness. I’m dizzy. I don’t understand where I am, what I’m doing - I just grab a stone as an anchor. This action brings my consciousness back - I’m here - around a mass of stones performing the piece st.One” - Goda Zukauskaite
