The rocker cover on my car has never been cleaned in the last 25 years.
The previous owner told me that work had been performed on the cylinder head, so I presume that the mechanic was either too lazy or thought that it wasn’t necessary to clean the rocker cover. I like it when I discover something new to me about these cars, so I'm sorry for my prattling.
