Welcome to the first episode of my journey into the depths of the RARE Serious Sam Collection on Xbox 360! Today, we're tackling Serious Sam 3: BFE, and let me tell you, this physical disc version is a wild ride... and not in a good way.

Right from the start, you'll witness the legendary opening logos... struggling. Like, seriously struggling. The optimization is non-existent, and the lag is real. But hey, that's part of the charm (or lack thereof) of this forgotten collection, right?

To dive headfirst into the madness, I'm using the hidden secret cheat code to unlock all levels and activate god mode. Because let's face it, we need all the help we can get. We're jumping straight into 'Power of The Underworld,' a late-game level set in the majestic (and graphically challenged) Karnak, Egypt.

Prepare for a visual feast... of low-resolution textures and unfinished environments. The frame rate? Let's just say it's more of a slideshow at times. But that won't stop us! I'm on a mission to unleash melee mayhem, spamming attacks on every poor soul that crosses my path.

Witness the iconic Beheaded Rocketeers and Kleers fall victim to my relentless melee onslaught. And don't forget the hitscanning Cloned Soldiers, those absolute nightmares. You'll even see how the Rocketeer's melee animation was shamelessly copy-pasted into Serious Sam 4, a decade later! Talk about developer dedication... or lack thereof.

The chaos culminates in an attempt to break the game using the chapter select cheat code. Spoiler alert: it doesn't quite go as planned. Instead, it just adds to the overall glitchy, unstable experience.

Finally, in a fit of frustration (and maybe a little bit of mercy for my Xbox 360), I retire the disc to its final resting place... my closet. And speaking of closets, that's where my friend Tyler came out as trans a few months ago. So, the closet is now a place of secrets and revelations!
