The SKYFOX drone gives you a look from above at the progress on the new and improved Northland Avenue (Highway 15/OO) bridge over Interstate 41 in Grand Chute.

The view looks northeast.

The bridge, just west of Appleton, Wisconsin, is set to reopen in September 2025 after closing more than eight months earlier.

If it looks a little different, it's supposed to. The new overpass is a diverging diamond, the sixth interchange of its kind in the state and the second in the Fox Valley.

Drivers cross over to the left side of the road when traveling across the bridge.

The idea is to make turning on and off the ramps more efficient.

The area's first diverging diamond, at Oneida Street and Highway 441, opened in 2018.

Another is expected to open this year at Ballard Road and I-41.
