The story in the album Bergtatt by Ulver tells a fairytale inspired by Norwegian folklore. The story is about a girl who is lost in the forest and a mysterious entity (The Subterranean) wants to take her into his mountain lair so that she will never come out again. (The fairytale goes that this is what happens to maidens who get lost in the forst). Listening to the music while reading the english translations really improves the feeling and the atmosphere in it. Now not only is this the best black metal album but the best concept album as well. I'm posting the other songs this way as well.
