Weihenstephaner Korbinian 🇩🇪 - Review

We've finally come to this point in our ongoing beer journey. The last of the main Weihenstephaner offerings that Joe and Ale have yet to review. With it not being available in Canada, it was looking like a review may not have been possible until a recent trip to Florida finally made it possible.

Brewed by Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan in Freising, Germany. The Korbinian Doppelbock has a strong character and even more flavor – named after Saint Korbinian to honor the founder of the Weihenstephan monastery. The dark doppelbock has won over beer lovers for decades with notes of plums and figs, balancing the dark malt aromas reminiscent of toffee, nuts and chocolate.
