Pregnant Seal Rescued From Entanglement

We had to ensure no newborns were in the group before we ran in. Otherwise, we would’ve found a safer way of getting to the entangled seal. Seals see us as predators and will always run to the safety of the water when we approach. Therefore, we have to be quick and efficient with each rescue. This seal was pregnant, so we had to be even faster to prevent adding to her stress. Two lives were saved in this rescue.
