What WATER RESCUE kit Mountain Rescue use | Inflatable Rescue Raft

A couple of Water Rescue team members of the Buxton Mountain Rescue Team, talk through the Inflatable Raft the team uses when a water rescue is necessary.

The water rescue team is made up of Swift Water Rescue Technicians (SRTs) which are UK DEFRA Mod 3 qualified and Water First Responders which are UK DEFRA Module 2 qualified. Both qualifications require extensive training and assessment for the initial qualification. Ongoing training and recerfification is required to maintain the qualification.
