The volunteers not only distribute 25 kg flour, rice, pulses, vegetables and toiletries, but also pledge to cover school fees, uniforms and ongoing monthly rations until the family becomes self-reliant. The video shows the poor living conditions — doors and windows without fittings, and only curtains as privacy — and records emotional conversations with the mother, the children and village representatives.
