I'm back at work on the layout itself after completing various rolling stock projects. Over the past week I've focused on making some significant changes to the branch line. I was never satisfied with the branch on that side of layout. Despite the visual issues and contrived appearance it also had a number of operational issues.

I've fixed most of the problems to the best I can with the available space. Much happier with the appearance now. I've just started the process of adding scenery to the area and hope to provide an update in about another week or so. Cheers
