Mazda CX-50 Trailer Hitch Wiring

Another "Edge of your seat!" "Nail Biting!" episode of 'Adventures in the Garage'. Yeah, not really that exciting but if you're the type that just wants to know how things are done, even if you don't expect to do it yourself, then this may be for you.
In this episode we are installing a 7-pin factory wiring kit for the trailer hitch on a Mazda CX-50. This will allow us to activate Tow Mode when a trailer is connected. Tow mode will de-activate some of the rear parking sensors so that the computer isn't freaking out about something lurking off the back bumper and or slamming on the brakes when you're trying to back up. It also modifies some of the shift mapping to minimize the stress on the transmission and adjusts the dynamic handling parameters to increase stability.
