Getting a proper understanding of how to use EQ in GarageBand will start to make your mixes and tracks sound a lot better. Without EQ, your instruments or sounds are fighting for space and this can make your songs sound messy or unnecessarily full. Using EQ in GarageBand we can carve out frequency shapes for our instruments to give them space to shine or to take away frequencies that we do not want to hear or perhaps some that we find annoying. If you're just a beginner then learning how to use eq might sound a bit foreign but bear with me in this video as I try to break it down in simple terms for you to understand within GarageBand.
