she's been gone nearly two weeks and the world feels so empty without her I didn't know how her death would affect me but it clearly did something to me oh how I wish I could have met her it would have been an honour of honours

Oh what do I say, it is quite hard to come up with the words to dedicate or say about the woman who knew exactly what to say at exactly the right time, whenever we needed it.

Her Majesty was the embodiment of some of the core values of strength, duty and devotion, her Majesty was warm and had a sense of humour no one could match born into a life where she didn't know what to expect but made the best of everything that came her way no matter what was said or done.

Over the last couple of years I spent quite a bit of time dedicated to learning and understanding this powerful woman, she went from being something fictional I knew of slightly to a role model words cannot describe she became a part of me she was there in times when I was struggling deeply to some of my happiest memories over the last couple of years. She was the stability I needed in my toughest times. Though she was across the world and didn't know who I was I felt deeply connected to her.

The night before she died I had dream of her it was my wedding day, I was in Scotland with my boyfriend and she was there at my wedding standing and laughing with us and though we were laughing and smiling the over arching feel of the dream wasn't that of a wedding but rather that of sadness and dread and I think whatever connection I had felt with this person half the world away tugged on my heart strings so much so that the whole day I was plagued with this feeling of sadness and that evening around 6:30pm I had heard the news about the passing of Her Majesty. Though I didn't know her the feeling the essence of who she was made a connection with myself and so many around the world. I will forever wonder if she knew how loved she was.

She was the guiding light we needed in the darkest of times she completed her duty and served our world with strength dignity and pride and may she rest in peace
