Battle Walk of East Cemetery Hill - Part 2

Описание к видео Battle Walk of East Cemetery Hill - Part 2

Join Licensed Battlefield Guide Robert “Bobby” Housch for a tour of the grounds, battle lines, and the fighting on East Cemetery Hill.

In Part 1, last week, Bobby focused on the Union movements, showing the terrain as it looked in 1863, as well as the current landscape that we recognize today. Part 2 covers the arrival of Confederate forces, their placement, and the ensuing fighting--including hand-to-hand combat--on Day 2 at Gettysburg.

If you missed Part 1, you can find it posted on YouTube (just log in, and search for Adams County Historical Society).

Bobby Housch is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who now resides in Gettysburg. In addition to his LBG tours for visitors, he teaches history with the South Western School District near Hanover. In his “spare time,” he serves as a volunteer with the Adams County Historical Society.
