Whole Summer Project: Mitre Saw Wall, New Shed, Horizontal Wood Storage, New Table Saw + Cats! 😻

First - I'm really sorry about the audio sync issues on this vid, it seems to drift in and out, some parts are ok and some parts are pretty bad. I only noticed after I'd uploaded to YT and had stupidly deleted all the source files as they were taking up a tonne of space on my machine and I thought everything was ok, so I can't now re-edit it and re-export it. My bad.

Second - I know this video is ludicrously long and I’m sorry for that too. I’d definitely recommend watching at double speed but hopefully there are still a good amount of tips, techniques and ideas in here to keep it interesting, plus a load of mistakes that I’ve tried to be very honest about.

This project was my whole summer for 2024 and there were so many different parts to it, all beginning with one middle-of-the-night idea about moving one metal rack and then growing massively from there to include removing my old shed, clearing the space and installing a concrete base, putting together a new shed, moving all of the gardening stuff and bulky items out of my garage workshop, getting a new table saw - the Evolution R255TBL+ - building a stand for it to match height with my workbench despite an uneven floor, building a load of new cabinets and drawers, making a mitre saw wall with measuring tape sunk into the worktop, some storage above and below, creating some horizontal wood storage with a sliding bed and a few extra shelves and then some smaller mini projects for good measure - wall storage for my nail guns, router bit storage in a split-level drawer and a new repeat stop for the mitre saw using MicroJig MatchFit grooves in the bench.

Phew! …Oh, I also had to finish off my outdoor cat house, which was a project I was most of the way through before I got the idea(s) for everything in this vid.
