White Belt is where you will build the foundation of your game and where your Jiu Jitsu journey truly begins!
You must really think about each technique and ask yourself:
Why am I doing this?
Why does it work?When you start understanding the
"why" behind everything, it all begins to make sense.
👉🏻Work on control positions from the top and specially bottom, and focus on the basics and fundamentals.
👉🏻You must to focus on mastering the basics, understanding "key control positions", and learning how to anticipate your opponent's moves.
👉🏻When you become a Blue Belt It's not just about showing up in class to train or roll; you need to keep studying the game on and off the mats too.
Remember what techniques you need to improve.
If you don't build a strong base as a White and Blue Belt, it will be much harder to move up in level and rank because bad habits will hold you back.
If you do this right, you'll reach a higher level much faster.
This is why it's so important to focus on building a strong foundation now.
