Amberg Navigator's Tripod Automatic positioning task is even easier than Tripod Manual. The instrument will automatically search and measure all prisms in a 360 degree field of view. Once measured, the instrument's position and orientation will be automatically calculated. At this point, the total station is ready for work. The operator does not need to manually sight any control points, nor be familiar with any control point names. This task is ideal for tunneling crew without surveying experience.
