2018-20 Sarita Refit, Fixing the leaking teak deck

Our home Sarita, a Solitaire 52, was leaking from the screwed down teak deck and we needed to do something. After getting a cost estimate of around 50 000 Euro for ripping the teak off and painting the deck we decided to do it ourselves. We are not boat builders so we learned a lot in the process that took almost two years (we did a lot of other things as well). We bought paint and equipment from Dutch De Ijssel for about 1200 Euro and had some stainless jobb done and new bolts bought for about 100 Euro and used about 4 liters of epoxy and three cans of epoxy filler for about 500 Euro.
