Mac Pro 2019 CPU Upgrade Guide

The Mac Pro 2023 model was not as good as it could have been when it came out. the 2019 model looks like a better choice. So I upgraded the CPU on the 2019 model to the top of the line to allow it to last longer without falling behind in performance.

Remove all expension cards - 00:45
Remove the thermal module - 02:53
Install new CPU - 07:50
Reinstall the thermal module - 09:45
Reinstall all expension cards - 13:20
Running Cinbench R24 test - 16:40

Tools:
* ESD wrist strap with clip or plug.
* Wiha Magnetizer / Demagnetizer.
* Phillips #1 screwdriver.
* Torx T8 screwdriver.
* Torx T15, 152 mm bit (Wera 867/4 Z TORX T15 bit.).
* Adjustable torque driver (0.3–1.2 Nm) (Wera 7440 Kraftform adjustable torque screwdriver (0.3-1.2 Nm) with Rapidaptor quick-release chuck.).
* Thermal paste (Shin-Etsu X23-7868-2D).
* Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) wipes.
