Today we are looking at the 2000 Baia Mare Cyanide spill, which resulted from a Dam failure at a gold reclamation facility.

The release of Cyanide from the Romanian tailing pond resulted in an ecological disaster that has been compared to the Chernobyl reactor meltdown in 1986.
