The Canadian government’s map of wildfire smoke fine particulate matter models for Sept. 3-6 shows smoke will intensify over British Columbia and the Prairies, parts of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Smoke-related air-quality advisories are in place across the the regions, with Environment Canada suggesting people limit their time outdoors. (Sept. 3, 2025)
