The Rock-afire Explosion - Rock & Roll Classics (September 1987)

Описание к видео The Rock-afire Explosion - Rock & Roll Classics (September 1987)

Showtape Title: SPP Rock-N-Roll Classics
Release Date: September 1987

This show is a compilation released in the latter half of 1987, and features two segments themed around classic rock. The first segment is a medley of old rock songs from the 50's and 60's, and the second is the Rock-afire's cover the Beatles medley from 70s group Stars on 45. Notably, this would be the first new show produced by Creative since 1986's Christmas Live, and would begin a renaissance of new CEI produced Rock-afire shows. All shows produced for ShowBiz from this point until Concept Unification would be written and recorded by CEI, but programmed by ShowBiz corporate. I should also mention that these two segments would be some of the first, if not the first Rock-afire segments to feature video. They would not only be some of the first shows released for Cyberstar, but some of the only shows (along with Tune Machine) to be released for CyberVision, the earliest prototype of the Cyberstar that was tested at a few ShowBiz stores in Texas in early 1988. This show was the counterpart to CEC Personal Favorites Showtape.
