In this vlog, we take you to a weekend getaway house located close to the city of Portland. Getaway is private organization which offers accomodation in tiny cabins situated in remote places, away from the aura of big cities. Most of their cabins are carefully picked and are located either close to a mountain or in the middle of a forest. We recently visited the one of the getaway house cabins near Portland city in Oregon. The cabins here are surrounded by forest trees, with a view of Mt. Adams from a distance. With plenty of outdoor activities like outdoor barbequeing, hiking, this place has so much to offer and gives you the opportunity to explore your inner wildness. The cabins are well equipped with all essentials and it almost feels like a small hotel in the middle of the forest. If you are a nature enthusiast, I highly recommend you try this out and see for yourself, how relaxing it feels to get out of the city life for once and to sense the remote beauty. Just FYI if you are COVID cautious, the cabins are well sanitized and neatly kept.

We spend two nights here, and this vlog contains details of our first night. We will post a second video of our second day's stay in these cabins and the activities to do around here on the Valentines day (Feb 14).so stay tuned for that!
