City, chamber of commerce and Wal-Mart officials attended a ribbon cutting event on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 to officially open the new Sun Prairie Wal-Mart. Donations to community groups and schools, a color guard, the singing of the National Anthem, and speeches by store manager Sarah Voegeli, Mayor John Murray and District 3 Alderman Zach Weber were among the highlights -- as well as the Wal-Mart cheer at the end of the video.
