As most of you are aware, Neve Campbell didn’t appear in Scream 6 due to a payment dispute with Paramount. She felt the offer they presented her with wasn’t enough for the role they had in mind for her. Now during the time Scream VI was released, there was an interview with Radio Silence in which they discussed Sidney’s role in 6 and how Neve’s departure impacted the plot. At the time, they said her role was significant enough to change the motive of the killers and also shift roles around when they heard she wouldn’t be back... But that has all changed with this latest statement...
