A handful of House of Representatives Democrats have called on the 81-year-old to terminate a campaign after a shaky debate performance against Donald Trump.

A series of public events since then have not put an end to Democrats' questions about whether Biden can win or hold up through another four years in office.

In a letter to Democrats, Biden said he was aware of their concerns but said it was time to close ranks.
