The annual Pathmark Gospel Choir Competitions had their event in Grand Central Station in New York City in 2006. They had two divisions, the Youth Division and the Open Division. If you won the Youth Division, the following year you had to compete in the Open Division.

The DVD I created in 2006 was not for YouTube. It was not to show each participating choir. As a result, I do not have the full presentations of all the choirs that competed. I apologize. If you do, please send it to me and I will post it.

In 2006 the GospelKnights swept the competition, the Graham Elementary School GospelKnights (Mt Vernon, NY) took the youth division and the Mt Vernon High School (Mt Vernon, NY) took the open division. The Graham Elementary School was disqualified in 2005 for going over time. Mt Vernon High School took first place in the 2005 Youth Division.

Note: Dr. Camille Taylor was one of the judges. Dr. Taylor ran the annual National School Gospel Choir Competitions. Harvey and Nana did a great job with the Pathmark Gospel Choir Competitions.
