Today marks 100 days until the start of the Democratic National Convention right here in Chicago and Democratic leaders marked that occasion by gathering at the Pullman museum to kick off a week of service. Scores of volunteers gathered at the historic Pullman exhibit hall on the Southside, shovels in hand, spreading mulch around the park and organized a food giveaway for people living in the area. It's the start of a week of service by the DNC across the Chicago area. The convention begins on August 19th.
