In this video, we are going to show you the Japanese concept of Satoyama, which refers to the way of life in the foothills of the mountains that you can explore in Minokamo City, Gifu Prefecture, Japan.



Minokamo is a beautiful city in Central Japan with plenty to explore for tourists.
It’s only 40-60 minutes by train from Nagoya (JR Mino-Ota Station) or an hour by car. It’s a great place to stop if you’re going up north to explore Takayama, Shirakawa-go, or Mino, Seki, and Gujo-Hachiman.
