Longboards generally can be as long or as short as the rider desires it to be.. However it is recommended that the board should not be longer than the riders height because this can cause loss of control. Most will range between 32 to 60 inches so this particular drop-through longboard is a wonderful average. This board by Rimable can be used from anything like basic transportation to free writing and downhill cruising or speed chasing. The truck is made for better turning ability and the wheels are larger and softer than standard skateboard wheels giving this a more smoother ride. We like that it's made from Maple versus Baltic Birch or Bamboo or even carbon fiber… Maple is less prone to fracturing during construction. You will also find that this board has more stability and traction and even more durability because of the wheel size and lower wheel durometers (85 A). The deck has plenty of grip tape to help compensate for it being a drop-through board vs a top mount or drop deck. Overall, the design is beautiful both in style as well as top-notch performance. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to start exploring this sport or looking to get a better board for personal use or fun "street groups" of others who like to ride and do tricks. :) This product was provided to me for free in exchange for review and inspection.
