King Arthur is said to have been first buried in a secret place before being transferred to his final resting place.
The new heir to the throne was still a child when Arthur died and if this news got out then the Kingdom would be seen as weak and ripe to be invaded. The ancient British records state that Arthur's body was taken to his cousin St. Illtyd who looked after it in a cave overlooking the Ewenny.
This appears to be the cave and the carved area in the floor where the body was said to have laid is clearly visible and can be visited.
