This was a light wind beach launch of a Slingshot 11m UFO in Cancun. The wind on the beach measured 4.5 - 6 mph with my hand held anemometer just prior to this launch. I'm sure the wind @ 3m altitude was higher, but not by a lot. Note the flag hanging limply. Also note the shadow of the toy kite flying above me. I had a guy on a jet ski bring me my board, as there was no way I could drag it through the waves, and there are too many shallow sand bars until you get past the breakers.
