i'm not really sure how many people watching this know about this level so i'll try to explain stuff.

many years ago Cvolton hosted a bunch of joke collabs in the czech community which were called Demon Vole (I-VI) and they're filled with random jokes from that era. the first five levels have been verified, leaving only this one made in 2016-2017. there were a couple of different verification attempts from different people but no-one went through with it. i was in no way involved with these levels or the people from back then, but i liked the challenge this level presented. it's both long and also very unbalanced and not really made with care, which are all aspects of levels i believe i'm good at so i wanted to give it a shot. whenever i got a wr or something i uploaded it on this channel, but i never played it for more than 2 days at a time until last week when i decided to finally lock in when more activity around the verification started appearing.

something i didn't know was also that there are like a thousand different versions, not only in balancing but also completely different parts lol. anyway, there were two public copies i found, one from Cvolton which was effectively unbeatable and just filled with gamebreaking bugs. i asked Palakor (one of the verifiers) which copy he was playing on and he told me about the Bogen one which had been balanced so i went with that. surprisingly it mostly worked except for two robot jumps at 86%-ish that were broken because of 2.2 slopes so i fixed that and didn't change anything else.

my experience was so dreadful it's actually crazy. i knew what i was going into but i just didn't know it's gonna be this bad from 0 compared to doing runs. i messed around with it for like 5 days with some smaller progress and then i started to get actually good runs on monday. since then i basically played the level non-stop until i beat it today. because of it's unbalanced nature, i was averaging around 50 attempts/hour since i got to 64+ every 3 attempts only to die and go next. failing at the last jump also just totally broke my mental so i'm very happy to have been able to finish this off.

about the completion, you may notice that orb pulses don't match the song. that is because i played the level with a nong due to not liking the original one. i put the correct song into this completion afterwards. one other thing is the long pause near the end. i often get very nervous and shaky at the end of levels, which was not very good for me when the hardest parts are at the end. because of that i started pausing at the end to breath and calm myself down, i'm sorry if that makes the completion less valid to anyone but i just couldn't do it. at the end of the verification, you can see me upload a copy to the servers. that's just to show that i didn't alter anything else than what i mentioned. i won't be updating the copy for that legitimacy reason. the actual level is gonna be released by Cvolton most probably though if he still cares about this and the copy should only be used as a legitimacy/verification thing.
