Widely reported by news outlets at the time, the footage purported to reveal a clear picture of the incident. It showed a group of teens caught in a lie and one parent’s irresponsible behaviour leading to legal consequences.

Yet just over a year later, after multiple jury trials, new evidence, and a re-examination of this same footage ... the story of this case and what the footage actually shows, looks very different.
