DT770 Detachable cable mod the easy and safe way

To do this you will need

Soldering iron and solder
3.5mm socket

Optional but makes it easier

Multimeter

A lot of the mods we do here require a lot of tools and skill so I had a good think and came up with the easiest and safest way of creating a detachable cable on the DT770.
Obviously modding anything can cause damage if you are not careful but if you have already snapped your cable or something then it can't make it worse ;)
