Sustainable implementation of a fully automatic, KHS turnkey Petainer© keg line at Russian brewery Lipetsk Pivo.

Always keeping one step ahead is something that not only applies to KHS but also to Russian beverage bottler Lipetsk Pivo. Lipetsk Pivo is the first brewery in the world to invest in an Innokeg PETLine F8, the environmentally-friendly, fully-automatic Petainer© keg line.

A key factor in the brewery's decision to opt for this system was that it would reduce the high cost of returning, storing and washing kegs normally incurred with refillable steel kegs. Petainer© kegs are disposable containers that can be completely recycled and are therefore particularly environmentally friendly and cost effective.

Other advantages include easy handling and high product safety thanks to the use of innovative barrier technology. Up to 240 kegs can be effortlessly produced per hour. Lipetsk Pivo relies on the high flexibility of KHS' Petainer© keg line in production. With its efficient inline production the system offers the brewery maximum economy.
