What to use to make your rocks look wet. Video on coating rocks using Polycrylic protective spray (WATER BASED) and EviroTex Lite resin. Update: 2020 August their is a new epoxy resin I plan to try out that is clear and UV protected. I found out epoxys over time when in direct sun light can develop a yellow tint. I put these rocks outside they still look good and its been over a year now. They resin ones do have a sight yellowing but the resin I used has a slight yellow to it. I plan to make a video with the new UV resin so keep an eye out.

I am a rockhounding now since this video and if you go this route that your rocks may after a while with the resin may yellow or it will slowly ware off but not for like 5 or more years and the humidity conditions can factor in. Also take some rocks can absorb better then others. Using a water bases is best and some may never yellow or crack over time. A year later rocks I have sprayed still look good.

EnviroTex Lite pour-on 32 oz. because I like to have a lot handy. They come in smaller or larger bottles.

Clear Spray:

Minwax, Polycrylic Protective finish (Water based) (Easy Water clean up and Crystal Clear)

Matt Teflon: found on Amazon always make sure its water resistant.

Not sure what I will name my youtube and may just keep The Crystal Tree name. So it's kind of up in the air right now. Any ideas for a cool name welcomed.
