Over the last few years Jamia Nagar and Shaheen Bagh have become popular food destinations for Delhiites and also for tourists. Apart from Mughlai flavours, these places have embraced flavours from other parts of the country and elsewhere.

Rumi’s Arabian Kitchen as the name suggests specialises in arabian dishes and plaenty of dishes from Kerala. Started by a group of friends from Kerala, Rumi’s Arabian Kitchen started operations about 18 months ago and today is a meeting place for lot of young foodies who want to gorge on delicious Mandi, Alfaham, Shawaya, Shawarma along with Kerala special dishes like BDF, Buff Roast, Kerala Porotta and delectable Malabar Style Biryani.

Chicken Mandi made in the traditional Yemeni style is the star dish here. Prepared with minimal ingredients, Mandi is prepared in batches throughout the day and served to the eager customers.

If you are aound Jamia Nagar, this eatery is definitely worth a visit.
