(I wholeheartedly recommend using Cat Researcher if you don’t have a strong Fishman to safely snipe the base after Rangmaster spawns. His true form gave him enough DPS to stand against Manic King Dragon whilst having rusher speed and a third of the cost.)

Bahamut’s pierce allows him to snipe Chickful A. from the base. Utilizing at least a B tier Defense Orb, he can tank a hit from Chickful on his own at level 40, which means you don’t have to waste combo slots on a cannon start up combo. This is still a little RNG-based, but what other options are there for beating Performant Thunderclap without beating UL?

To begin, immediately deploy Manic Eraser, followed by Slime, then another Manic Eraser. Spawn Bullet at around 1700¢, then save for Bahamut and spawn him as soon as possible. In order to win, Bullet has to hit Gabriel, then Bahamut has to rush through, reach the base, then hit Gabriel without getting hit himself in order to tank a Chickful hit. You must execute this properly, or Bahamut will get blocked by another Gabriel after killing the first one, meaning you lose out on 220k damage to the base. The timings are tight, but this part is not subject to RNG, and should give you a high chance at victory.

While that goes on, start spawning Courier and Cat Researcher, then spawn Slime. Your second Bullet Train must fail to speed clip past Manic Eraser, because you will need him for when Rangmaster spawns. Hopefully Chickful A. does not freeze Bahamut, since it may give time for a Gabriel to spawn and block or even snipe Bahamut. Keep chipping the base from here.

When Rangmaster spawns, Bullet should hit the Gabriel, then Bahamut will clip past him and hit the base again while also stopping Rangmaster and killing Gabriel with his explosion. The Courier stack you’ve accumulated with also get a hit in on the base before dying. If that doesn’t destroy the base, your last chance is Courier and Bullet sniping, as well as some Cat Researcher chip. If you still can’t beat the stage, try leveling up Bullet Train.

All-in-all, if you can get the steps down without mistiming the first Bullet Train or the second Slime, you should be able to destroy the base without the double Bullet snipe, which requires absolutely no Gabriel interruption to work. I would like to have shown a more optimized run, but this is one of those one-time-clear stages, so if anyone can get it to work with lower levels or with better timing in-game, tell me about it.
