For over a decade, the views in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and 365 were pretty static in terms of the presentation layer. There was little you could do to customize the presentation of the data therein.
However, with web resources you can easily provide your users with custom icons that may have meaning related to column values in the actual data set.

This feature has been around for a few years, but we don't see it used as much as it could be, and so it's worth it to create a quick video showing how this can be used. Also, it's always fun to create a more attractive user experience for your users.

The more recent innovation is the PowerApps Control Framework (PCF), and while we briefly mention it here, that is a topic for another video.
